Moai of Easter Island Have Bodies

I've done a modest amount of work to verify the validity of this particular picture. http://i.imgur.com/BPtO1.jpg .   So far I've found nothing in the image itself to indicate a fake. Judging by other photos provided by the Easter Island Statue Project (http://www.eisp.org) and around the net, it is probably real.

It should be pointed out that not all of the statues seem to have had full bodies.  The picture below is from a 1914-15 expedition.  Although it's certainly possible the statue had broken from the rest of its body, the rounded bottom at the base provides evidence that this was the extent of this particular statue.
